RAEKWON jumps into the fray
Twitter Fight! Joe Budden vs. Raekwon
Raekwon and Joe Budden got into a little dust-up over the weekend at a Rock the Bells show in California. Seems Lex Diamond resurrected the static between Jersey Joe and the Wu that got started when Joey talked sideways about being a better rapper then Method Man. (Side note: Joe Budden talk smack about another rapper? Whuh?) A punch might have been thrown, an eye might have gotten a little bit swollen, and more darts might have been thrown in the ensuing bloggery. But only one media outlet was there to capture the whole thing as it originally went down*. Hit the jump for the rest of the story.

50 Cent Family Day Concerns
New York
City's finest will be kicking up security measures at this years Family Day as 50 Cent readies to put on a not-so-secret show.
The event is expected to draw around 10,000 local residents to the Jamaica, Queens neighborhood, where Fif grew up and was nearly fatally shot in 2000.
But the planned appearance has sparked concerns from local authorities, who have recruited an "army of cops" to shut down the area, fearing violence will break out if a shooter takes aim at 50, reports the New York Post.
"Someone's gonna try to make a name for themselves. They're gonna take a shot at him and they're either gonna hit him or they're gonna miss him and hit some poor, innocent kid or grandmother." An insider tells the Post.
"We can't control the area. (It's) an outdoor event - people could walk in from anywhere," said an officer.
Fif is also set to bus hundreds of children from his former neighborhood to Six Flags
Great Adventures a day before Family Day.
Fif will be taking the stage Aug. 29 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, with money raised benefiting The G-Unity Foundation, which provides grants to non-profit organizations that focus on improving the quality of life for low-income communities.

RZA,RAEKWON,GHOSTFACE KILLA, METHOD MAN PLANNING JOINT ALBUM
Wu Tang Clan's Method Man has said that he is planning a joint album along with fellow band members RZA, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah.According to MTV News the rapper said that the foursome were "in discussion" about the project, which would also see some producers outside of the band involved."It's in discussion right now," he said. "I don't want to say it's written in stone, but it's in discussion. I want some feedback from the fans to see how they would take that.He added that the album would feature some "RZA-produced tracks aswell as some outside producers, of course, and we gonna have Wu Tang members on the album, but it'll be a Rae, Ghost and Meth album."He explained that he preferred collaborating to working solo, hence his desire to gear up the project."Honestly, I don't want to make an album by myself," he said, "but it's something that's required, and the fans want that, so I'm gonna do that."But the same way with my shows, I like doing shows with brothers instead of just doing them by myself. I like to have a crowd around. And have that input to make the project better."The Wu Tang Clan last released an album, '8 Diagrams', in 2007.

Left4Dead 2 looks better than its predecessor, and frankly more violent
If you have the first Left4Dead video game you already know whats up; HORROR, VIOLENCE, BLOOD, and TEAMWORK - which is desperately needed in a game, in which dozens of zombies rush you at one time, and converge to kill you. If you are the squeamish type, this is not for you, but if youre an avid fan of SURVIVAL HORROR of the Resident Evil and Silent Hill type like me, you will want to see this exclusive E3 High Def video of mayhem and gore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPQF0gVOXEs

Ther seems to be a bit of a problem with Method Man and Joe Budden
The beef between Joe Budden of Slaughterhouse, and Method Man, seems to be expanding wider, since a member of the Wu - Tang Clan, Inspectah Deck, called out Joe Budden at a rap show they both preformed in. Listen as Method Man calls into Power 105.1 - Ed Lover Morning Show, to air his view on the situation..http://bit.ly/50EH7

Jay-Z to sign SHYNE??
Well, what do we have here? According to sources at AllHipHop.com, Jay Z went to Rikers Island on Friday to see Shyne, the former rapper down with Bad Boy Records. I don't know exactly what went down, but sources say Jay-Z visited him to offer Shyne a deal with Roc Nation. I wonder...how would what go down. Shyne's pretty real on the street side of things, but he's achievements as a rapper aren't quite 100. Still, in this era of "no snitching," Shyne Po pretty much stands alone.

Gangs aren't just a recent problem
I searched the web high, and low to try to get a handle on the prevasive gang culture that seems to permeate through today's youth, like fashion trends. Lo, and behold I think I've struck gold on this information - a complete site, dedicated to helping the average individual - albeit, a bit overwhelming to underinformed people - (that means no experience in the streets, lol). Check it out, and let me know what you think... http://www.streetgangs.com/graffiti/
